Located in the heart of Salt Lake City, Skillets has quickly carved a niche for itself as a brunch destination that promises culinary delight. Diners rave about the iconic French Toast Flight, a triumphant trio of thick, golden slices adorned with everything from fresh berries to decadent chocolate sauce. Amal Soni captures its essence perfectly, describing it as "an experience" rather than just a meal.
But the amazing dishes don't stop there. The Tower for Two and breakfast burrito also earn high praise, with patrons like Kristie Alexander claiming that every bite is "so delicious." With a friendly atmosphere and attentive service—shoutout to servers like Sierra—guests feel right at home. Kalvan H notes the vibrant ambiance, remarking that while prices may be on the higher side, the experience is indeed worth it.
For those looking for a memorable brunch, Skillets should definitely be on your radar. Its blend of mouthwatering dishes and a laid-back vibe creates a dining experience that goes beyond the plate. Whether you share it or savor it solo, Skillets is a flavorful adventure waiting for you.

If you haven’t had brunch at Skillets in Salt Lake City, let me introduce you to the main event: the French toast flight — and yes, it’s just as magical as it sounds. Three thick, golden slices of perfection, each dressed up like they’re headed to a dessert fashion show. One was stacked with fresh blueberries and strawberries, dusted in powdered sugar like a sweet snowstorm. Another rocked whipped cream and caramel drizzle with a crumble topping that made me briefly black out from joy. And the third? Chocolate sauce, strawberries, and vanilla ice cream — because why not eat like a rock star before noon? Each bite was fluffy, flavorful, and absurdly delicious. I didn’t know whether to eat it or frame it. This was not a breakfast — this was an experience. Add in friendly service, a laid-back vibe, and solid coffee, and you’ve got yourself the brunch jackpot. Do yourself a favor: get the French toast flight. Bring friends... or don’t. No judgment if you want it all to yourself.

Five star food at a five star price tag. The atmosphere is nice and the weather was perfect for inside or outside seating. This is a popular place and the host informed us of over an hour wait that turned out to be 25 minutes, although I noticed many parties unable to commit to the wait list and opted to go elsewhere. We ordered the Tower for Two and the French Toast Flight (sampler). We did not go away hungry, which I love. Normally I would knock off a star for outrageous prices (100 breakfast for party of 3), but it was worth trying once for the hype. To this place I would go again for the experience, though!

This place is amazing! I had seen ads for it and was so happy when I finally got to go. It did not disappoint. We got the tower for two, breakfast burrito, and french toast sampler. Every thing we ate was so delicious. The whole staff was so kind as well. I can’t wait to come back!

First off the food is AMAZING! On top of that the environment is great, the bathroom sign hilarious, and our server Sierra made the experience perfect. I got the lumberjack skillet and my wife got the poutine skillet. Both were really good. We will be back for sure!

Absolutely fantastic breakfast. I got the tower for 2 and it was more than enough food for me and my husband. The waffle fondue was exquisite and the rosemary potatoes are to die for. Their house made cream cheeses with sour dough are inspired. For my drink I had the millionaire milkshake and it was so yummy and rich. The waitress was just great and very attentive! If you're visiting or live in the state this place is a must. What a beautiful way to spend our anniversary

Sierra was our server. She was absolutely amazing kept us abreast of all the situations that were happening with our food. The food was beyond expectations. It was absolutely amazing. The place was busy and once we got our food even though we had to wait 30 minutes to get in it was a reasonable time for reasonably priced food that was above my expectations for what we ordered.

This was an amazing experience. Randomly chose a brunch place for a weekend birthday. They have been at this location for just over three months and the place was hopping. The staff create the positive energy right off. Our server, Jazmin, was great. We asked for her recommendation and got the “world’s best breakfast burrito” and their “signature French toast”. Both are delicious and filling. The owner, Will, came by and shared with us the short version of the story, and praised his staff and cook crew, saying he feels very lucky to have them. They then surprised me with a complimentary dessert for my birthday. We’ll be back soon.
